Madrid, Spain, 03 May, 2007: Today, Amadeus, a global leader in technology for the travel and tourism industry, announced that Air Berlin, Germany's second-largest airline and Europe's third-largest low fare carrier, is now managing its sales, reservations, inventory and route network worldwide, using the Amadeus Altéa Customer Management Solution (CMS).

September 24, 2007: Hotel rates rose by just 0.8% year-on-year on a global level in the second quarter of 2007, according to the Hotels.com Hotel Price Index, but in Europe year-on-year prices rose 5.2%. In contrast, there was a small rise of 0.6% in Asia, whilst prices in the US and the Rest of the World fell.
